It does not cover ProVisas's own client files, which are governed by its client engagement terms and by the Immigration Advisers Authority's Code of Conduct.
What this site collects
No enquiry form, no account, no newsletter signup, no live chat. There is nowhere on this site to enter your name, your visa history or your contact details, and that is deliberate: immigration enquiries contain some of the most sensitive personal information there is, and it belongs in a licensed practice's own intake process rather than a website inbox.
The only thing this site stores in your browser is the analytics cookie described below.
What our host records
The site is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs. Those typically include the IP address the request came from, the page requested, the time, and the browser's user agent string. They are used to keep the site running and secure. We do not use them to identify individual readers and we do not combine them with anything else.
Analytics
From 15 September 2026 this site uses Google Analytics to count visits. It tells us which pages people read, roughly which country or city they are reading from, and whether they arrived from a search engine, an assistant or a link. We use it to decide what to write next.
Google Analytics stores two cookies in your browser, named _ga and _ga_WK7B23GCM2. Each holds a random number, which is what lets Google tell a returning browser from a new one. They expire two years after your last visit, and clearing your browser data removes them sooner.
Google is sent no name, no email address and nothing about your visa situation, because this site never asks you for any of it. Your IP address is used to work out roughly where you are and is then discarded rather than stored, so the reports we see show a city, never a person. No advertising feature is switched on, so nothing here is used to target ads at you anywhere else.
If you would rather not be counted, block cookies for this site in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out browser add-on. Every page still works normally if you do.
There is no cookie pop-up on this site. New Zealand's Privacy Act 2020 does not require your consent for a cookie that only counts visits. If you are reading from the European Union or the United Kingdom, where the rules are stricter, the opt-out above gives you the same control a pop-up would.
Links to other sites, and the tags on them
This is the part worth reading properly, because it is the one thing this site does that you might not expect.
Links from here to the four related businesses named on this site carry tracking parameters in the address. They record that the visit came from nzmigrationhelp.com, and which page it came from. They do not identify you. They exist so the group can tell whether this site is useful, which is the only way to justify continuing to run it.
Links to Immigration New Zealand, the Immigration Advisers Authority, NZQA and other external sites carry no tracking parameters at all.
Once you follow any external link you are on that organisation's site and their privacy policy applies, not this one.
Fonts and images
Fonts are served from this site rather than from a third-party font service, so loading a page here does not tell a font company that you did. Photographs are hosted here too. Apart from Google Analytics, no part of a page loads from anyone else's server: no advertising network, no social network, no embedded video, no chat widget.
Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you can ask what personal information an organisation holds about you and ask for it to be corrected. Given the above, this website almost certainly holds nothing about you beyond server logs. If you have been a client of ProVisas, that is a separate request to them.

Changes
15 September 2026. Google Analytics was added. Until that date this page said the site set no cookies of its own and loaded nothing from a tracking service, and both of those are now out of date. The section headed Analytics above is new, and the paragraph on fonts and images was corrected. Nothing else about the site changed.
If this changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. If the change is material, the previous position is not quietly replaced: the page will say what changed.
